Mum’s Sautéed Shrimp Penne


Mum’s Shrimp Sauté served with Whole Wheat Penne

  • 250g penne pasta
  • 500g raw shrimp
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 leek, sliced
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup sweet white wine
  • 1/2 cup fish stock

Bring a pan of water to the boil and add whole wheat penne

Cooke penne for 10 minutes

Drain pasta and set aside.

Sauté oil, leeks and shrimp with salt and pepper for 3-5 minutes

Add wine and fish stock and cook for 1-2 more minutes.

Add penne to the pan and cook a further minute.

Serve warm
