Double Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

Chocolate Strawberries are a must every now and then. It makes you feel romantic… and like you eating something mildly healthy.  The dark-chocolate and strawberry combo makes this a relatively guilt-free dessert (or I tell myself that) And the white chocolate makes these chocolate-covered strawberries beautiful and a touch sweeter.

Double-Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

  • Strawberries
  • Dark Chocolate
  • White Chocolate

Wash strawberries and line a baking sheet with baking parchment

Fill a large saucepan half way with water on low-medium heat (do not let it boil)

Place a smaller jar or deep cup in the warm water

break up the dark chocolate to small pieces and place in the cup in the hot water

As the chocolate begins to melt, stir until smooth.

Dip strawberry into dark chocolate and place on lined baking sheet

Let cool for 30 min at room temp or 15 minutes in the fridge

Half way there

After they have cooled, melt the white chocolate in a clean cup in the warm water.

Very Quickly Dip the very bottom of the strawberries in the white chocolate, so you can clearly see both white and dark chocolate

*Don’t let the strawberries staying the white chocolate for very long or the dark chocolate will begin to melt.  This is a quick dip*

Let cool for 30 min at room temperature or 15 minutes in the fridge

Eat and Enjoy!

  1. Now these are a lovely idea. I have of course dipped strawberries in dark chocolate, but never the tips in white as well. It does give them even more of a special air and I bet they taste good too.
